Weekly Exoneration Round Up – November 11, 2014

  • We bear heavy hearts this week as we mourn the death of exoneree Darby Tillis. He sang in the Exoneree Band and will be missed by all who shared in his life. Please take the time to reflect on Mr. Tillis’s story and learn how he was one of the first individuals to be exonerated from Illinois Death Row.
  •  Watch this PBS video for an intimate examination of the struggles exonerees face to receive compensation after their release from prison. Compensation is only one step toward mending the wounds of such a grave injustice, but it is an utterly necessary one.
